# Watching Videos

Solus comes pre-installed with everything you need to watch your favorite movies, TV shows, DVDs, and Blu-rays.

## Budgie

Budgie includes [GNOME MPV](https://gnome-mpv.github.io/) - a GTK+ frontend for [mpv](https://mpv.io/).

You can open GNOME MPV by clicking its icon in the top panel or by opening the Budgie Menu and looking under "Sound & Video".

MATE includes [VLC](https://www.videolan.org/vlc/) - an open source cross-platform multimedia player written by the VideoLAN project.

You can open VLC by opening the Brisk Menu and looking under "Sound & Video".
