Solus comes pre-installed with everything you need to watch your favorite movies, TV shows, DVDs, and Blu-rays.
Budgie
Budgie includes GNOME MPV - a GTK+ frontend for mpv.
You can open GNOME MPV by clicking its icon in the top panel or by opening the Budgie Menu and looking under "Sound & Video".

MATE
MATE includes VLC - an open source cross-platform multimedia player written by the VideoLAN project.
You can open VLC by opening the Brisk Menu and looking under "Sound & Video".
